RTA Litigation Supervisor
(Multi-Track RTA/PI Claimant Solicitor/Legal Executive)
We are looking for unique and exceptional professionals on behalf of our client to work at their Cheshire based office to supervise a small team of Litigators.
Responsibilities (required skills/competencies):
- Achievement of personal and team billing targets
- Commercial awareness and business acumen
- Ensuring that write offs and issues with suppliers are kept to an absolute minimum
- Using the proclaim system in accordance with the firms policy and assisting more junior staff in the proficient use of the system as required
- The post-holder particularly will be expected to maximize their personal billings to achieve appropriate billing performance targets meeting with the income budget/and or forecast for the department
- Managing a caseload as required to achieve both the above whilst providing excellent client care
- Target driven with an eye for business and commercial awareness whilst maintaining exceptional client care
- Good RTA Fee Earning skills and technical ability
- A good working knowledge of the law including statute, CPR and case law in respect of Personal Injury Law
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to work within the team and are comfortable assisting more experience Fee Earners
- Commercial awareness is key
- A Proclaim user with a good understanding of the system and good Microsoft skills
- Ensure cases are progressed in a timely manner to hit team targets
- Monitor personal KPI’s to ensure these are being hit
- Identification of the correct defendant(s) and assist in drafting a LOC
- Obtain medical evidence to confirm condition and prognosis of the customer, reviewing contents of records and drafting chronology
- Obtaining relevant information as to special damages
- Assisting in the drafting of special damage calculation
