We are looking for an experienced PA to join an established Liverpool based firm.

Job description

Provide an effective and flexible PA service to lawyers in the team to ensure it functions efficiently in a manner which meets its objectives and the on-going needs of the firm.

•Liaising with staff and clients

•Booking travel and accommodation

•Preparing presentations

•Plan, co-ordinate and organise projects

•Dealing with expenses and payment of invoices

•Screening telephone calls (enquiries and requests) and handling them when appropriate

•Typing correspondence and documents from audio/copy, as required

•Devising and maintaining office systems including filing, data management and stationery supplies

•Preparing papers for meetings

•Providing and communicating information to other parts of the business

•Organising and maintaining diaries and making appointments

•Dealing with incoming e-mail, faxes and post and where appropriate corresponding on behalf of the fee earner

•Preparing standard correspondence on behalf of the fee earner including billing

Candidate Requirements

•Previous personal assistant experience at senior level in a professional services environment is essential

•Experience compiling and preparing presentations

•A professional approach and attitude to work

•Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills

•The ability to work independently and as part of a team

•Able to demonstrate adaptability

•Excellent communication skills

•Excellent IT skills to include all Microsoft packages including Powerpoint

•Experience of Big Hand, Visio and Aderant are desirable

•The ability to manage own workload and work under pressure

•Attention to detail

•An understanding of confidentiality issues and use of discretion

•Excellent Time Management

•Flexible approach to work

Salary up to £21,000 depending on experience
