We are currently recruiting for a Paralegal/Legal Executive or Associate for the Casualty department of our clients firm in Liverpool.
Job description
• Responsibility for day to day management of a supervised caseload of predominantly litigated EL/PL claims within the retail sector
• Defendant caseload to include all types of claims but primarily fast track and lower end multi track claims
Candidate Requirements
• Experience of EL/PL claims essential, preferably within the retail sector
• Experience of handling litigated fast track claims to trial is essential
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Good working knowledge of the CPR and relevant case law
• Excellent organisational skills and effective time management abilities
• Excellent attention to detail
• Mathematical skills would be advantageous
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Advocacy experience
