Senior Fraud Litigator needed for a firm in Manchester.

To pro-actively manage a litigated caseload of predominantly motor insurance fraud and motor claims to conclusion including trial and appeal. Case load will include small, fast and multi-track cases.

 Additional duties:
• Meet time and income contribution targets
• Ensure accurate Claims Management System records are maintained
• Ensure quality, service standards and productivity levels are maintained to a high standard
• Draft appropriate documentation
• Liaise with clients and opponent solicitors
• Develop client contacts and an understanding of the client culture
• Actively manage client relationships
• Where appropriate, attend client review meetings
• Assist with both internal & external auditing
• Continually keep Managers abreast of any client changes and issues
• Allocate new claims as and when required
• Carry out supervisory tasks appropriate to level and as per management instructions

 Candidate Requirements:
• Experience in the evaluation, negotiation and settlement of motor insurance and fraud is essential
• Complex technical litigation experience
• Proven supervisory experience
• Can demonstrate experience in dealing with client MI
• Experience of managing fraud rings
• Can deliver technically accurate and appropriate advice to clients, colleagues and others
• Demonstrate understanding of client needs/expectations and able to effectively build and manage relationships
• Ability to interact and communicate with clients and colleagues
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Prioritise workload and organise own work effectively
• Adhere to internal guidelines and procedures
• Apply knowledge, skills or experience to solve problems
• Know when to seek guidance and do so effectively
