PHP Developer
We are looking for a PHP developer who is dedicated to their craft for our clients firm in Liverpool.
We need you to write clean, fast PHP to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way that improves the code-base of our systems.
You will be a part of a creative team that is responsible for all aspects of ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and launching.
Responsibilities
- Making software/schema design decisions that best solve the requirements of the project.
- Troubleshoot and maintain existing systems and databases to ensure strong optimisation and functionality
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Follow industry best practices
- Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary
Requirements
- Proven software development experience in PHP using popular frameworks – preferably Laravel
- Understanding of popular content management systems – preferably WordPress
- Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX etc
- Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools (Git) and of developing web services
- Passion for best design and coding practices and open to new technologies and ideas.
