We are recruiting for a Legal Secretary to assist two Solicitors in the Personal Injury department of our clients firm in Warrington.
Duties will include, but not be limited to,
• Prepare and manage correspondence, legal documents and reports and Court papers
• Audio typing
• Answering telephone calls and dealing with enquiries
• Taking accurate and detailed telephone messages
• Maintain filing systems
• Collate information
• Maintain databases
• Organise and coordinate meetings, conferences and travel arrangements
• Take, type and distribute minutes of meetings
• Implement and maintain office systems
• Organise diaries and make appointments
• Handle incoming mail and other material as directed
• Communicate verbally and in writing responding to enquiries
• Using office equipment such as faxes, photocopiers, binders etc
Necessary Experience:
• Personal Injury experience
• Intermediate Excel and Word experience
• Audio typing skills essential, minimum 65 wpm
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
• Proficient in spelling, punctuation, grammar and other English language skills
• Proven experience of producing legal and non legal documents and correspondence
• Demonstrable experience in information and communication management
