We are currently looking for a Paralegal – Insurance – Claims Litigation for our client based in Liverpool

Brief Job description

  • To provide assistance and support to team members who deal with defendant EL/PL personal injury claims
  • Undertaking evidential and liability enquiries
  • Investigating and valuing claims
  • Researching case law
  • Valuing personal injury claims
  • Reviewing records
  • Arranging conference calls
  • Liaising with witnesses
  • Opportunity to handle own caseload of low-value claims subject to supervision

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience of EL/PL claims
  • Knowledge and experience of the CPR preferable
  • Litigation experience preferable but not essential
  • Excellent organisational skills and effective time management abilities
  • Confident phone manner
  • Self-supporting with good IT skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to operate in a busy target driven environment to meet deadlines
  • Commercial awareness
  • A good team player
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

Full-time permanent position.
