We are recruiting for a paralegal for the Casualty team in our clients firm in Sheffield.
Experience of EL/PL PI cases is desirable.
Duties will include, but not be limited to,
• Evidential and liability investigations
• Assessing quantum
• Researching case law
• Maintaining financial/management information
• Administrative responsibilities
• Drafting procedural documents
• Attending case management conferences when required
• Attending trials when required
• Liaising with clients
Candidate Requirements
• Experience of EL/PL personal injury cases is desirable
• Litigation experience
• Knowledge of the CPR
• Adhere to guidelines and procedures
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• A flexible approach to work
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent organisational skills and effective time management abilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
