We are currently looking for a Legal Secretary to join an established firm in Warrington.

Successful candidate will provide an exceptional level of secretarial and administrative support to one of our Senior Partners.

Duties will include but not be limited to,

  • Preparing and managing correspondence, legal documents and reports and Court papers
  • Audio typing
  • Answering telephone calls and dealing with enquiries
  • Taking accurate and detailed telephone messages
  • Organising and coordinating meetings, conferences and travel arrangements
  • Taking, typing and distributing minutes of meetings
  • Implementing and maintaining office systems
  • Organising diaries and making appointments
  • Handling  incoming mail and other material as directed
  • Maintaining filing systems
  • Collate information
  • Maintaining databases
  • Communicating verbally and in writing responding to enquiries
  • Using office equipment such as faxes, photocopiers, binders etc  

Experience:

  • Intermediate Excel and Word experience
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
  • Proficient in spelling, punctuation, grammar and other English language skills
  • Proven experience of producing legal and non legal documents and correspondence
  • Demonstrable experience in information and communication management
