Household Claims Handler
A Household Claims Handler is needed for Warrington based firm.
Key Accountabilities:
- To provide a household claims handling service by acting as first point of contact for clients
- Reporting and recording details of new household buildings and contents claims
- Liaising with the insurer, contractors, loss adjusters and other agents as required
- Identifying potential subrogated recovery or contribution recovery when dual cover may exist
Duties:
- Accept Telephone and FNOL claims from private clients.
- Manage the FNOL process with the client to determine the most appropriate course of action.
- Manage the reinstatement process or replacement item process with the approved contractor and approved suppliers where appropriate
- Indemnity assessment and possible recovery or contribution factors
- Undertake any other duties as necessary
- Understand the claims journey as to actions required
- Instruct contractors, loss adjusters and service providers to implement a speedy reinstatement or settlement of the clients buildings or contents claim

- Attention to detail maintaining accuracy in data collection and management
- Knowledge of Proclaim is an advantage
