Employment Solicitor

We are recruiting for a Solicitor for the Employment department of a law firm on Merseyside.

The solicitor will provide efficient and effective legal advice, assistance and representation for clients maintaining the highest standards of integrity, professional expertise, competence and client care at all times.

They can expect to run a caseload consisting of general employment law advice and support and Tribunal work, primarily advising a range of employers from the public and private sectors. The solicitor will be expected to make every effort to obtain an efficient and effective result for the client, to be accessible to their clients and to maintain regular and appropriate contact with them.

The solicitor will be expected to maintain their specialist legal knowledge, both within the office and by attending external courses and seminars. The solicitor will be expected to understand the business and culture of their clients, and to suggest commercially sensible and pragmatic solutions to their legal problems and issues.

They will also be expected to deal effectively and considerately with all people they have contact with as part of their duties.
