We are looking for an experienced EL/PL File Handler/Claims Handler to join a well established Liverpool based firm.
Job Description,
To manage a varied caseload of multi track and fast track employers, occupiers and public liability personal injury cases from initial instruction through to trial.
Job will include but not be limited to,
•Client liaison
•Drafting letters of negotiation and advice
•Instructing counsel
•Assessing quantum
•Drafting detailed statements of evidence
•Assessing liability
•Assessing contributory negligence
•Assessing liability
•Assessing contributory negligence
•Drafting precedent documents
•Preparing trial bundles
•Providing court directions
The successful candidate will have,
•Experience of personal injury EL/PL cases
•Ability to deal with high value PI including complex injuries and multi track cases deriving from all areas of injury.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•Excellent attention to detail
•Comprehensive understanding of CPR
