Conveyancing Assistant

We are currently looking for a Conveyancing Assistant for a firm of solicitors to work in their Sale and Purchase (Middle Team) in Wirral, Cheshire.

Relevant skills and/or aptitudes:

  • Ability to work under own initiative and as a member of a team
  • Ability to work proactively
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to write clear and concise English with
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Computer literate/keyboard skills, using Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel


  • Telephony skills
  • Ability to write clear and concise English with little supervision


  • Working in a successful team
  • Experience of working with electronic case management systems, in particular Proclaim
  • Reasonable knowledge of conveyancing processes and procedures
  • Previous work experience in dealing with conveyancing transactions
  • Experience in dealing with members of the public

Relevant education/training 5 GCSE or equivalent including English Language and Mathematics

2 or more A levels or equivalent
