We are currently recruiting for an Associate for the Construction department of our clients firm in Liverpool.

Duties will include,

• Client liaison
• Managing/assist with a caseload of files
• Drafting letters of advice/instructions to clients/experts
• Prepare professional appointments and warranties and manage their completion
• Assist in dispute resolution through litigation, adjudication, mediation
• Preparation of documents in proceedings, including claims, witness statements and other documents

Candidate Requirements

• Previous construction experience is essential
• Previous experience of commercial litigation and commercial contracts is essential
• Excellent organisational skills
• Demonstrates an understanding of clients, colleagues and others
• Adheres to guidelines and procedures
• Ability to interact and communicate with the client and keep them up to date
• The ability to work as part of a team and independently
