My client is currently recruiting for a Litigation Team Leader for their firm in Liverpool.

Job description,

• To manage a reduced portfolio of defendant small claims, fast track and multi-track RTA claims
• To manage a team on a daily basis within the motor litigation department
• To act as a point of referral for the team alongside the supervising Partner
• To work closely as part of the motor claims management team to form and implement processes, policies and procedures
• To complete appraisal reviews in a fair, consistent and timely manner
• Continuously drive the development and training of the litigation motor claims team
• Action feedback from internal and external audits
• Monitor delivery of the overall litigation department performance and ensure the achievement of SLA’s through the Team Leaders.
• Review, analyse and action management information
• Monitor and control the data accuracy within the department
• To assess the capacity of the teams to ensure this is aligned with business objectives, strategy and priorities
• Prepare and deliver training when required
• To ensure internal and external developments are communicated to the team
• Responsibility for day to day contact with clients and attend client review meetings when required
• To undertake projects and to be able to deliver within agreed timescales

Candidate Requirements,

• Experience of handling litigated motor claims
• Able to initiate and maintain relationships within the business
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience of managing team leaders/managers
• Experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and email
• Experience of managing client relationships
• Ability to influence and negotiate
• The ability to identify and implement change
• Problem solving skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Ability to work to, set and monitor targets and deadlines from an individual, and team perspective
• Experience of coaching/mentoring
• Shows commercial awareness in understanding of the firm, the market and industry
• Flexible in approach and willing to work outside normal office hours if required

Salary up to £36,000
