Professional Negligence Solicitor & Department Manager wanted for our clients firm on the Wirral.
You will play a vital role in leading an expanding department. You will be responsible for working on a variety of cases including claimant professional negligence claims against property related, legal related and financial related professionals. You will also work on defending under settlement personal injury type work.
The successful candidate will be responsible for running a caseload as per the attached advert and also managing a team which includes 2 Solicitors, 1 Paralegal, a Trainee and a Secretary.
Candidate will have previous experience working within a similar role within a Professional Negligence team and will be able to effectively summarise large volumes of information, ensuring cases are progressed within the organisations file handling procedures. The role will suit someone who has had experience litigated professional negligence cases and has the ability to draft applications and pleadings as well as taking cases through the trial.
You will also lead a team of Professional Negligence Solicitors ensuring that they operate at optimum efficiency. You will also be involved in ensuring that the department meets its strategic objectives and has overall business efficiency and growth through the provision of performance information, cultural change and clear communications.
