We are currently seeking to recruit legal administrative support for our clients team in Sheffield.

Brief Job description:
• File Management – creating and archiving files and deeds
• Back-up secretarial service to the team
• Records – archiving and recovery of records as requested by secretarial or fee earning staff
• Opening and closing files
• Co-ordinating cheque requests and account queries
• Support and advice to all users of the service
• Copying and collating documents (eg for instructions to counsel, trial bundles or medical experts)
• General administration
• Back-up secretarial support to the team and the team Legal Secretary

Candidate Requirement:
• Customer service skills
• Organisational skills
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Telephone and communication skills
• Ability to operate in a busy target driven environment
• Be able to work under own initiative taking a proactive approach
• Understanding of the Legal industry
• IT skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and any other in-house systems in use throughout the firm.
• Able to produce accurate and well-presented work
• Willing and able to work as part of a team
• Able to use initiative
• Able to demonstrate adaptability and flexibility
• Awareness of accounts procedures
