Investigator/Liability Adjustor

An established firm on Merseyside are looking to recruit an Investigator/Liability Adjustor.

Duties will include, but not be limited to,

  • Consolidation and analysis of available evidence/information
  • Use of computerised systems
  • Preparing detailed statements and reports
  • Client development –present and participate in development events both formally and informally
  • Liaise with clients and provide/receive information
  • Collation of documents from clients’ sites and database
  • Identify gaps in intelligence and evidence and seek remedies
  • Conduct investigations (desk top and field) to identify evidence gaps and deficiencies
  • Conduct interviews with witnesses and other parties using tact and diplomacy

Candidate Requirements

  • Able to produce timely, accurate and detailed investigation reports covering all areas/aspects and to a consistent high standard
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and effective time management abilities
  • Ability to manage workload
  • Ability to work as a team and independently
  • A flexible approach to work is necessary as regular travel is required for the role
  • Excellent IT skills
